Helping you make life a grand adventure

A tiny house &
big adventures

Hi, I’m Amanda Bloomquist — a born and raised Washington State girly with a deep love for the outdoors and travel.

I grew up doing all the classic PNW things with my family: hiking, camping, boating—you name it. But it wasn’t until after high school that I caught the travel bug. My first big trip was to Southeast Asia, and that’s where my love for exploring the world really began.

Not long after, I took a seasonal job in Grand Teton National Park. That summer changed everything. I realized how much I craved both adventure and nature—and that I needed to make space for both in my life.

So, I built a tiny house in Washington, leaned into a flexible lifestyle, and began sharing my journey online. These days, I split my time between traveling (about half the year) and living in my cozy little home base. I do a mix of content creation, guiding, and gig work to make it all happen.

Instagram has always been my main platform, but I wanted a space where I could share more—more detail, more resources, more heart. That’s why I started this blog. Here, I can take the pretty pictures and short videos from social media and turn them into something deeper: guides, tips, and stories to help you experience these places for yourself.

If you’ve made it this far—thank you.

Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and for being part of this journey as I figure out how to live a life filled with meaning, connection, and a whole lot of adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I hustle. This means mostly spending my money on adventure and travel. I don't shop, or eat out much at all. I work as a content creator, as an outdoor guide, and do random gig work that all allows me to work remote or pick up jobs n other places.

  • I use a Canon Rp and my iPhone 15

  • There are so many great hikes in Washington but I repeat Tolmie Peak Fire Lookout.

  • Wyoming holds a special place in my heart. From the Tetons, to the Wind River Range, Yellowstone. and Lander. I think it is full of hidden gems.

  • I had such a great time in Ecuador. The culture is super vibrant, and the nature is amazing — with beautiful lakes, mountains, and all kinds of scenery. The cities are really unique too, and it’s awesome that you also get access to the ocean. It honestly feels like Ecuador has a bit of everything.
